Came for the wine, stayed for the food. Absolutely delicious, the sauce in the shrimp pasta is out of this world, the cook on the octopus in the octopus rice is just perfect.

Lovely food. I had a vegetarian pasta which was absolutely beautiful and my partner had a typical Portuguese cod dish. The vino verde was amazing. Great service.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. came here for dinner on a weekday night as a party of 4. loved the service and all the dishes. had the Portuguese cod, risotto dish, cod + octopus starter, panna cotta and their famous pumpkin fondant dessert. so delicious and authentic. had a wonderful time

We had dinner here on Thursday 10-04-2025. We sat outside, it was very busy. Despite that, the staff were very friendly and fast. The food was great, we enjoyed it very much.

First night in Porto and stopped off here despite many other choices The restaurant looked quiet which is sometimes concerning, however the excellent service and amazing food soon put my mind at ease. The sharing rib eye steak is possibly one of the best I have ever had, I will definitely be returning

It’s a cozy place. Not to far from the center of the city. My husband and I ordered these two dishes that are on the pictures. Well I I have to say the food was delicious.

Had the pernil com ovo. The pernil/slow roasted pork was amazing! A few glasses of tinto and the pleasant atmosphere made for an enjoyable dinner. Would recommend and come again to try another dish. The wait staff were great, and responded quickly to request. Very patient with and english speaker.

I am a resident of Porto and have tried the Francesinha at other restaurants in the neighborhood, but this one at Trigo de Cantos was THE BEST, better than the one in the same area that everyone says is the one you should try (that one I found disappointing). I highly recommend Trigo not only for the good food but for their accommodating care. One of my friends had a serious allergy to dairy and they made a special sandwich for her. They have both indoor and outdoor tables. The fries were served separately leaving them crispy and delicious, not soggy. The Francesinha sauce was quite flavorful and the meats were perfectly cooked and plentiful. Highly recommend. I will come back for other Portuguese classics.- Tipo de refeição

Visited for dinner as they had free tables and were on our way. Turned out to be a great choice. Super nice staff. Good food and not expensive. Decent selection of foods and drinks. Recommended.

we totally recommend this place. The owner and his staff were super friendly! The location is nice. The food we had was delicious, unfortunately too much for two. If you order keep in mind that the portions might be big with fair prices. Additionally we had wine and 1l sangria.

Skip everything else and come to this place after 11:30 am. Their food is amazing. The service is awesome. The internet connection is stable and fast if you need to work. Order the 1,7L sangría, you are welcome. Pork with cheese sandwich 🤩🤩 And the one on my picture 👏👏
Really nice place, super friendly staff, and the food was delicious. Totally worth it!
